School communications

Please ensure that you are receiving and read our Centre e-mails. We use Constant Contact for distribution; we recommend signing up with a Gmail, Yahoo or corporate account to help avoid mails going to junk. We can see who is opening and reading their mails, so if you are not sure if you are receiving everything, please ask and we can check for you.

If you need to sign up for a mailing list, please contact your campus and advise of your child's name and ID.

If you have questions about tax receipts, you can contact our accounting team at tax@aspenhillmontessori.ca between

Fall Entry 2026

We are excited to welcome families back for another wonderful school year with us! Our first day of care is Tuesday, September 8th, 2026.

SICs begin our second week of care on Monday, September 14th.

Review our beginning of care documents here:

Government grants and subsidies

The current Federal Affordability Grant program agreement is in effect until Mar. 31 2027. The current grant expires and does not currently have a replacement in plan. We will continue to update families as we receive more information from the government.

Subsidy was discontinued in Alberta as of Mar. 31 2025. If any changes are identified from the Province, we will notify families.

Paying fees

All parent-payable fees, as well as some SIC payments, are made via Rotessa auto-withdrawals. If a Special Interest Class (SIC) is provided by an external vendor, you may be asked to e-transfer to a provided address.

If you do need to drop off a physical payment to the Centre, please ensure that you provide a cheque made out to Aspen Hill Montessori, with your child's student ID and name on the cheque. Ask for it to be given to the Director.

Speaking with teachers or  administration

Pre-booking conversations via phone or e-mail is essential as we have many families and want to ensure we can focus on your needs. If you would like  to chat with your child's teaching team, please book an appointment in advance through your campus email. Drop-in visits may not be able to be accommodated as our full attention must remain on the children. Thanks for your understanding!
